Aerial view of the Cross Bronx Parkway, today the Cross Bronx Expressway, a highway in New York City. The highway crosses the south-central section of the Bronx and eventually connects to the George Washington Bridge. The highway can be seen running past a large apartment complex of nine high-rises, smaller apartment buildings can be seen on surrounding city blocks. Industrial buildings, a river, railroad, and other roads can also be seen.
