RMS Queen Mary & HMS Queen Elizabeth
The ships RMS Queen Mary (right) and RMS Queen Elizabeth (left) in New York Harbor. The ships were docked at Pier 90, located at the intersection of 50th and 12th streets.

During World War II these ships were used to carry troops across the Atlantic Ocean. After the war, both ships were converted for passenger use. The ships were own by Cunard White Star (now called Cunard Line).
