N.Y. New York City. Cathedral of St. John the Divine, When Finished.
Sketch of exterior of the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City as it was projected to appear upon completion. Construction of the cathedral began in 1892 and is still being completed. The design for the cathedral was changed from this sketch when a new architect was chosen in 1911. The current cathedral differs considerably from this sketch.
