Log Jam; D & H R.R. Bridge Weighted Down with Loaded Coal Cars to Prevent Destruction
View of large log jam in the Hudson River at Fort Edward in the southern Adirondack Mountain region. To the left the Delaware and Hudson Railroad bridge can been seen with cars loaded with gravel. Cars were left on the bridge to prevent the force of the log jam from crushing it.
