Exterior view from elevation of the former City Hall in Buffalo, New York, now known as Old County Hall. Constructed in the 1870s, the large structure is marked by a tall, central tower. Landscaped lawns surround the building. Pedestrians and horse-drawn carriages pass along the street and the semicircular drive in front of the Hall. It was replaced in 1931.
