Indian deed to James Stewart and others, for a certain tract of land beginning at the southeast corner of the land purchased by and granted to Arent Stevens, Dow Fonda and others, lying on the north side of the Mohawks river, about twenty miles above Schenectady, and about four miles and a half from the Mohawks river, and running from thence northerly along westerly bounds of a tract of land granted to [illegible] Winne, Hance Hunn and others, then southerly to the north corner of a tract granted to Arent Stevens, Dow Fonda and others, west to the rock on the side of Canigaghthudda creek, where Stevens land began, from thence back the same line north seven degrees, west eighty-nine chains to the west side of Garoge creek, thence along the westerly side of said creek, as it runs, to the place where another creek called Caniahdutta, falls into the said Garoge creek, then closing on Stone Arabie, and also two small parcels of land on the north side of the Mohawks river, one of which begins at the southwest corner of Walter Butler's land (Johnstown, Fulton county), indorsed with

Certificate of Peter Van Driesen, that the same was surveyed in the presence of the Indians, and also with certificates of Wm. Johnson, that the purchased money mentioned therein was paid, and the contents thereof duly interpreted.
