The petition of the Sachems or Chiefs of the Schoharie Mohawk Indians, in behalf of them and their castles, in relation to their lands in the county of Albany, on the west side of Hudson's river and the Blew hills of Katts Kill, along each side of Chawtickagnack creek, the Schoharies creek to the nearer falls to Schoharie, containing in the whole about 6,000 acres, which have been stolen from them by the River Indians and sold to Vincent Mathews, Michael Dunning and Daniel Denton.
