Page two of a letter from Charles C. Adams, Professor of Forest Zoology to Hon. Theodore Roosevelt, Governor of New York regarding a request for a working plan for the scientific research into natural history of large game and fur bearing animals. Letter includes two sections: statement of problem and proposed remedy, which involved the education for foresters about large game animals. The ideals set out in this letter were realized two years later when the Roosevelt Wild Life Forest Experiment Station was established.
