Receipt of payment from Henry Burden for the building of a horse boat for John A. Thomson and John R. Hollenbeck. Thomson was the principal shareowner of vessel. The Thomson family operated numerous ferries out of Catskill up and down the Hudson River. A horse boat was a long, flat boat powered by horses driving a paddle wheel.
