Native white spruce tree grown in Town of Chester, on the Landon Hill Road, in the Adirondack Mountains. The tree was chosen to decorate the White House, Washington, D.C. in 1964. Participants in finding the tree included the Adirondack Lumbermens' Association and the Warren County Committee of Chambers of Commerce - of which Hall was president. A tree was chosen again from the Adirondack region in 1969. People in photograph are possibly members of Hall's family.
