Symon Pos vs. Augustyn Heerman, for shipping plaintiff's beavers without his consent in the sloop Renselaerswyck ; defendant denies the allegation ; case continued. Philip Geraerdy and Richard Cloff vs. George Collen, action for a debt due Mr. Moor by defendant, who is a fugitive (from Virginia) ; defendant pleads payment by service. Thomas Baxter vs. John Pickes ; plaintiff gave a note for the purchase-money of a sloop, but not having received the vessel, demands return of his note. [1645]
Report. Of an interview between Gerrit Vastrick and Cornelis Melyn, when the former having threatened to summon the latter for a debt, before the court, he retorted, "I have nothing to do with the court ; there is no justice for me here," and violently abused Vastrick. [1645]
