Resolution. Dr. Johannes La Montagne to go with a force of fifty men to Fort Hope, to curb the insolence of the English thereabout, who, not content with having usurped the lands which the Dutch bought and paid for, have committed various other outrages. [1641]

Fiscal vs. Ulrich Lupold for satisfaction to the company ; defendant acknowledges his faults and requests to be again employed ; judgment for plaintiff ; meanwhile defendant to be allowed his rations until the arrival of the ships. Fiscal vs. Maryn Adriaensen, slander ; defendant begs pardon of the director, and is forgiven for the sake of wife and children. [1641]
