Jan Damen and David Provoost vs. Everardus Bogardus and Tymen Jansen, guardians of the estate of the late Hendrick van Vorst, on a claim as guardians of Jan van Vorst, to one-half of the estate of said Hendrick, in his right, as full brother of deceased, and then to an equal share of the remainder with his half brother and sister ; court awarded judgment for plaintiffs as claimed. Jacob Stoffelsen vs. Everardus Bogardus et al., guardians, &c., that defendant, before dividing Hendrick van Vorst's estate, pay what he owed his father ; judgment for plaintiff. Hendrick Jansen, father and guardian of Elsie Hendrick, vs. the guardians of the late Hendrick van Vorst's heirs, for three cows which said Van Vorst verbally promised his daughter, in case he died on the passage to Fatherland ; judgment for defendants.
