Court proceedings. Maryn Adriaensen vs. rev. Everardus Bogardus, for a debt due to plaintiff by one Jacob Govertsen (who had made a present of a piece of cloth to defendant's wife) ; on the ground that Govertsen could not make a present until he paid his debts, and whosoever received such present, was bound to pay his debts, the court ordered, that the plaintiff and other creditors be paid pro rata out of moneys due the late Govertsen by the company.
