The play details the contributions to women’s equality by Anne Hutchinson, Harriet Tubman, Margaret Sanger, Rose Schneiderman, and Carrie Chapman Catt. Actors include Susan Reed, Shirley Blank, Thelma Lee, Ron Fletcher, Hattie Winston, David Bowman, Catherine Grody, Rosalind Harris, Beth Holland, Nancy Andrews, Martha Greenhouse, Ellen Henley, Vinie Burrows, Kim Hunter, and Celeste Holm. Kathrine Switzer, first woman to run the Boston Marathon, presents Midge Costanza, assistant to President Carter for public liaison. After giving a speech, Midge Costanza presents Ramona Charles. Marie Ferdinand, Chief of Protocol of the United States for New York, introduces Sirat Golden, director of the East Side Theater Arts, who sings a song from Madame Butterfly. After the performance ends, an episode of “Meeting of the Minds” begins with guests Ulysses S. Grant, Marie Antionette, Sir Thomas More, and Karl Marx.
