Gretchen Crier and Nancy Ford continue their musical performance. Kitty Carlisle Hart introduces Academy Award, Emmy, Grammy, and Tony Award winning actress Helen Hayes. Hayes, in turn, introduces Academy Award winning actress Celeste Holm who sings “It Was Good Enough For Grandma” from the 1944 Broadway musical Bloomer Girl. Afterward, Celeste Holm introduces Martha Greenhouse, president of the New York local of the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (AFTRA) and Beth Holland who is working on the National Women’s Committee of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and AFTRA to provide more quality roles to improve the media image of women. Celeste Holm introduces the actresses involved in the next dramatic skit including Hattie Winston of The Electric Company, Vinie Burrows, Kathryn Grody, Rosalind Harris, Thelma Lee, Kim Hunter, and Ruby Dee. Ruby Dee reads her poem entitled "Calling All Women."
