Content list, detailed analysis, application for the Motion Picture Division to reexamine, and report of examiner for the Mexican film "Chucho el Roto", or "Chucho the Dandy," 1935. The list included multiple application and review files. The analysis was performed by the Motion Picture Division's reviewer, who concluded that the film was "inhuman"; "sacrilegious"; "would tend to corrupt morals"; and "would tend to incite to crime." He recommended that it not be approved for distribution. The reexamination was necessary after the original version of the film had been rejected by the division. The distributor, rather than changing any scenes in the film, argued that it was based on Mexican history and tradition, and that there was no valid reason to ban it. The report to the division recommended that the film be condemned "in toto," because it would incite to crime, lead to corrupt morals, and was immoral and sacrilegious.
